Introduction

Welcome to Amtivo’s privacy policy. Amtivo respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

This is the standard privacy policy that applies to the following Amtivo companies:

When we use “Amtivo”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this privacy policy, we are referring to the relevant Amtivo company responsible for processing your data. When you purchase a product or service with us, or enter into a working relationship with us, we will tell you which Amtivo company you are dealing with.

What is the purpose of this document?

This privacy policy describes how we collect and process your personal data during and after your working relationship with us, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and associated data protection legislation.

It is important that you read this privacy policy together with any other privacy policy or fair processing notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data. This privacy policy supplements the other policies and notices and is not intended to override them.

Data protection principles

We will comply with data protection law. This says that the personal information we hold about you must be:

  1. Used lawfully, fairly and in a transparent way.
  2. Collected only for valid purposes that we have clearly explained to you and not used in any way that is incompatible with those purposes.
  3. Relevant to the purposes we have told you about and limited only to those purposes.
  4. Accurate and kept up to date.
  5. Kept only as long as necessary for the purposes we have told you about.
  6. Kept securely.

However, if we combine or connect Aggregated Data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this privacy notice.

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with services).
